PERMISSION FEE SEASON 2009-2010

Entrance permits for ascent and trekking need to be acquired personally in the city of Mendoza.

The forms will be able to be download soon from this web page. Y ou will be able to obtain the permits at the Visitors Center (Subsecretaría de Turismo), sited in 1143 San Martin Av., Mendoza City City.

Office hours

  • Monday to Friday 8AM to 6PM
  • Saturday, Sunday and Holidays 9AM to 1PM

Note: No permits will be sold on December 25 and January 1st.

Minors are not allowed to enter the Park during the restricted season.

The prices in validity for the Season 2009-2010 are is Argentinean pesos and they are the following ones:

High Season : From the 15 of December of every year to the 31 of January of the following year “, the tariffs will be the following ones:

Middle Season : From the 1 of December to the 14 of December and from the 1 of February to the 20 of February of every year, the tariffs will be the following ones:

Low Season : From the 15 of November to the 30 of November and the 21 of “February to the 15 of March of every year, the tariffs will be the following ones:

Validity of the permits

Your permit’s validity starts on the date you enter the Park, which will be written on your permit at the checkpoint in Horcones or Pampa de Leñas. Trekking Permits

This permit only authorizes the visitor to reach the base camps, i.e., to ascend to a maximum altitude of 4300m above sea level.

Visitors who wish to ascend beyond this altitude or to walk around the Aconcagua need to purchase an ascent permit.
Minors under 14 years are not allowed to enter the Park. Minors between 14 and 21 years must present special documents to obtain permission to enter the Park.
